Conceived in Burgundy and crafted by local coopers and stonemasons, the Focal Seat by TCB Works is a cocoon, an oak or limestone sculpture in cosmic acoustic geometries, an intimate room for two without walls.
In the workplace it can allow seclusion and focus without the need to isolate in a cubicle.
In a street, a piazza or a garden, the limestone version gives respite, allowing people to reach out to one another, to touch with the voice.
At home -or in a hotel lobby- the Focal Seat can enhance listening and concentration, providing peace without withdrawal for one person, or quiet engagement for two facing people.
